Electric Convoy Sets Off From Addis Ababa to Nairobi An electric-vehicle convoy is scheduled to travel from Addis Ababa to Nairobi from September 17–25, immediately following this week’s Nordic-Africa EV Summit in Addis Ababa. The trip will include an electric heavy-duty vehicle and is designed to test how practical cross-border electric transport has become along the Ethiopia–Kenya corridor. Organizers say they will assess charging availability, operational readiness and border conditions along the route.
